SanDisk Ultra 3D: For whom is the SSD worth buying?

In general, buying an SSD like the SanDisk Ultra 3D is worthwhile if you are currently still using a conventional magnetic hard drive and want to give your system more speed. Especially with old laptops or game consoles (with us you can find out, for example, how to install an SSD in a PS4), boot and loading times can be significantly improved. Even if the data rates of the SATA SSDs cannot keep up with the more expensive NVMe variants, they clearly beat old HDDs. The write and read speeds of the SanDisk Ultra 3D remain consistently at a very good level thanks to the TLC memory and cache.

If you just want to archive large amounts of files or create backups, an external HDD is much more worthwhile. Enormous storage capacity is much cheaper here. One example is the 8 TB WD Elements Desktop.

Tip: When you register for the MediaMarkt or Saturn newsletter for the first time, you will receive a voucher for 10 Euro, which can be redeemed from a minimum order value of 100 euros.
