GTA Trilogy – The Definitive Edition: First title update released

Rockstar apologized in a blog post yesterday to their community for the disastrous release of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition. In the post they announced an upcoming title update, which should address some problems in the game.

Title Update 1.02 fixes some annoying bugs

The developers did not hesitate and Title Update 1.02 is now available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X | S, and Xbox One. The PC is not explicitly mentioned, but there are a few bug fixes for “all platforms”. The Nintendo Switch version also received a small bug fix related to the language settings of the game.

Known culprits can be found in the patch notes themselves, for example missing character animations in cutscenes, and various crashes due to various activities. It probably became a problem with that too Fixed rain effects from GTA: San Andreas, which made the title almost unplayable for some players so far, and has already produced some mods to fix this.

In your News from November 19th the company also stated, that the original games of the trilogy will return to the stores. All owners of the remaster get the three games for free. As soon as this actually happens, Rockstar will release another update.
