In Busan, the curtain rises in the ‘Overwatch® Korea-China war’ with no concessions with China.

The Esports Night hosted by Busan City (Mayor Hyung-Jun Park) and co-hosted by Busan Information Industry Promotion Agency (President Moon-Seop Jeong) and Loud Communications, Inc. It was announced that it will be held at the Busan E-Sports Stadium on the 26th (Fri) at 7 pm.

Unlike existing competitions, ‘TEN’ is an e-sports competition that provides a different experience through the events and competition methods that fans want to see. If the first half of the 21st season approached fans in a regular tournament format, ‘TEN’, which returned to the second half of the last October 1st, is offering a different experience by introducing a national matchup matchup.

The national match-up, which could not be easily seen without a large-scale international match, is gaining a lot of attention and love from fans as it is gaining popularity as an exciting match. Recently, ‘TEN’, which was successfully completed with Korea’s victory by showing Tekken 7 Korea-Japan match twice to hide the pride of Korea and Japan, unveiled the ‘Overwatch Korea-China match’ matchup as the 7th tournament. In recent e-sports competitions between Korea and China, China has often won, so attention is focused on what will happen in ‘Overwatch Korea-China Match’.

‘Overwatch Korea-Chinese War’ is an event-type match between the top teams of Overwatch Contenders™ Korea and the top teams of Overwatch Contenders™ China. Although it is an event-based competition, as it is a national competition between Korea and China, it is expected that the participating teams will have a fierce competition without any concessions, putting their pride in their hands and making them sweat.

The top teams of ‘2021 Contenders Korea’, ’02 Blast’ and ‘T1’, will participate as representatives of Korea. As a representative of China, they will participate in ‘Time Resume’ with The One Winner (T1W), the top team in ‘2021 Contenders China’.

‘O2 Blast’, which participated as the first Korean team, won the last ‘2021 Contenders Korea’ seasons 1 and 2, and in the case of ‘T1’, the second Korean team, placed 4th in Season 1 and 3rd in Season 2.

The ‘Overwich Korea-China Match’ will be played in two rounds. The first round is a match between T1 and The One Winner, and the second round is a match between 02 Blast and Time Resume, in a best-of-five system. If the result of the 1st and 2nd rounds is 1:1, the winning country will be decided through a one-on-one match between the two countries’ aces.

On the other hand, ‘Overwatch Korea-China War’ on November 26 (Friday) will be held in accordance with With Corona’s distancing rules, and both players and fans are expected to enjoy the live scene. Fans who want to watch will start on November 23 (Tuesday) at Interpark (https://ticket.interpark.com) through advance reservations and on-site ticketing on the day of the competition.

In ‘TEN’, a gift giving event will be held for fans who have an intuition at the scene. In this event, ‘GEEKSTAR’ keyboard and headset equipment will be presented through the best cheerpool event and lucky draw lottery.

TEN ‘Overwatch Korea-Chinese Battle’ with a total prize money of 8 million won is broadcast live on TEN channels on Twitch, Afreeca TV, Naver, and YouTube, and can be viewed through the streamer’s personal channel. More details about the competition can be found on the TEN channel on YouTube and the Busan e-Sports Stadium website.
