Hosted by the GGC Organizing Committee, which consists of the Korea Game Society and the National Game-Related Department, to expand the base of the game industry and revitalize the market ecosystem, various private and private sectors such as the Presidential Jobs Committee, Game Management Committee, Game-in Foundation, and Korea Mobile Game Association The Global Game Challenge (GGC) 2021, a festival of future gamers co-sponsored by the group, will be held from December 15 to 17.

GGC 2021, a national game university joint exhibition, presented game-related contents in various fields such as game finished products, programming, graphics, music, and platform/service. Through this, it has served as a gateway to recruit outstanding talents in the game field by laying the foundation for communication between game/content major students and the established game industry. This year, it will be held as an online festival based on the Metaverse platform, where you can directly play the submitted content and communicate with the participating team.

At the same time, the GGC Award, which judges and awards works submitted by participating schools, will be held. The award, which is sponsored by Xsolla Korea, One Store, and the Game in Foundation, consists of three categories: game finished work, planning/story, and artwork. Participation and submission of virtual exhibitions are accepted on the website by December 3, and the participation fee for virtual standard booths of schools and educational institutions is exempted in full.

GGC Graduation Exhibition Chairman Kim Jeong-tae, Professor of Dongyang University, said, “The Global Game Challenge (GGC) is a festival for amateur gamers in their fourth year this year. It is an opportunity,” he said, adding, “I hope that there will be a lot of interest and participation so that the festival of young gamers who will become the backbone of the Korean game industry can be successfully held.”
