A new MR device in the form of sunglasses, ‘Nreal Light’, unveiled by Chinese hardware manufacturer Nreal, will be released in the United States in December. The launch price was set at $599 (about 710,000 Korean Won).
‘Nreal Light’ is a mixed reality (MR) glass that superimposes digital images on the surrounding environment. It has the shape of a regular sunglasses and weighs only 106g. It has a viewing angle of 52 degrees, which is rather wide for a spectacle-type device.
Nreal Lite is characterized by using a wired connection with an Android smartphone equipped with a Snapdragon chipset via USB Type-C. Models above the flagship are mentioned, and the lineup of compatible devices that can seamlessly utilize all the features of Nreal Light is as follows.

In addition, if ‘Nebula’, a dedicated app for Nreallight, is used together, Android’s AR app and 2D app can be used through Nreallight’s display. It is also possible to run multiple Android apps simultaneously in the same space.
