Anno 1800: Date for Update 13 with a new mode & colorful paint enhancement

Ubisoft Mainz is preparing new content for Anno 1800. Like the developers in one current blog entry fans should mark December 14th in red on their calendar. Then, among other things, the free update 13 will be available for download. In addition to game improvements, the patch also includes the new Green Game Jam mode. Ubisoft Mainz intends to submit tangible details about the new game mode on December 6th. So much is known: In Green Game Jam mode, you travel to another region to develop a city and complete a major environmental project.

Limited resources in the DLC

New mechanics are supposed to make the construction of a city and all the necessary industries much more demanding. “Monocultures and overfishing can quickly lead to problems with the food supply, while the limited non-regenerative resources have to be used well,” wrote Ubisoft Mainz in response to the announcement. It remains to be seen which bug fixes and optimizations are in Anno 1800 Update 13. The makers should also submit the patch notes with details on the changes and innovations in the coming weeks.

Colorful paint for Anno 1800

The release of the Cosmetic DLC “Bunter Anstrich” is also planned for December 14th. The package known so far under the name “Lively Cities” is the second winner from the player survey in spring – the pedestrian zone package with new ornaments has been for Anno 1800 since the end of September (buy now € 23.99 /53,99 € ) available. The “colorful paint” package should bring more visual variety to your cities – and include, for example, new building skins. There will be more information about this on December 2nd. And: In a live stream on December 6th, the creators want to introduce the new mode, DLC and “a few more” things.
