– Establish a virtuous cycle structure based on OpenStack through cooperation with the Global Technology Foundation
NHN Cloud announced on the 29th that it will complete its participation in the ‘OpenInfra Foundation’ (hereinafter referred to as the Open Infrastructure Foundation) and will continue to share OpenStack technology and collaborate with global technology foundations. This is the first subscription for a domestic cloud service company and the second subscription for a domestic company after Samsung.
The Open Infrastructure Foundation is an organization that supports the development and application of open infrastructure technology, and 110,000 developers from 187 countries around the world make up the open infrastructure community. It operates open source projects and communities dealing with data center cloud including OpenStack, edge computing, Network Functions Virtualization (NFV), CI/CD, and container infrastructure. Currently, AT&T, MS, Facebook, and Tencent Cloud Various global companies are active as members.
Through this joining, NHN Cloud will prove its technological prowess represented by OpenStack and enhance its competitiveness in the global market in Japan, North America, and the Southeast Asian region it plans to enter. In particular, the idea is to create a virtuous cycle structure based on OpenStack by sharing OpenStack operation and development experience with leading global companies.
To this end, NHN is working with the OpenStack Korean community to provide solutions necessary for technology studies and conferences to strengthen the OpenStack ecosystem. Meanwhile, on the 4th, NHN
