A month ago, the latest expansion for Final Fantasy 14 was released with Endwalker. The add-on has been a huge success since then. The new content received top ratings from critics, and Endwalker is also very well received by players. So good, in fact, that Square Enix had to temporarily stop selling the online role-playing game to new players because the servers are currently completely overcrowded. However, the developers haven’t rested on this success over the holidays. Instead, work was carried out on the completion of patch 6.05, which is now to be played on the servers tomorrow, Tuesday, January 4th, 2022 during a maintenance period. For this purpose, all worlds are shut down at 6 a.m. Central European Time.
The update to game version 6.05 brings some interesting new content, especially for endgame players. For example, the epic version of the raid challenge Pandaemonium: Asphodelos will be made accessible. With the Allagan Stones of Astronomy, a new form of the well-known token currency is introduced, with which a lot of new items for level 90 heroes can be acquired. Craftsmen can look forward to new high-end recipes. With the Excitatron 6000, a new dungeon opens for treasure hunters.
According to Square Enix, the maintenance work required for this should take about five hours. The return of the servers is therefore planned for 11 a.m. During downtime in Final Fantasy 14 (buy now ) other services are also not available. You will not be able to log into the official website of The Lodestone during this time either. In addition, the Final Fantasy 14 Companion App will be serviced between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. on the same day, January 4, 2022 and will not be available. The home world transfer service will be deactivated half an hour before maintenance begins. The developers reserve the right to make changes to the schedule for any complications.
