– Expanded operation of 8 game over-immersion healing centers nationwide
The Game Culture Foundation (Chairman Kyung-il Kim, hereafter referred to as the Foundation) signed an agreement to operate the Game and Immersion Healing Center with the Busan Information Industry Promotion Agency on January 1.
With the signing of this agreement, the Game and Immersion Healing Center is a hub center (Chungang University Hospital), Daegu Gyeongbuk Center (Daegu Catholic University Hospital), Honam Center (Naju National Hospital), Chungcheong Center (Konkuk University Chungju Hospital), Seoul Center (Purme) After the foundation Nexon Children’s Rehabilitation Hospital), Gangwon Center (Yonsei University Wonju Severance Christian Hospital), and Gyeonggi Center (Onse Hospital), it will be expanded to 8 locations nationwide.
The Busan Game Over-immersion Healing Center provides a one-stop preventive-consultation-treatment support service that can preemptively respond to game over-immersion and increase accessibility and availability of game over-immersion targets in the region.
Through the agreement, the Busan Game Over-immersion Healing Center introduces a healing program using music and physical education, and conducts business to resolve over-immersion in games, such as providing specialized education for game over-immersion for counselors, counselors, and related business people. We plan to expand it.
Chairman Kim Kyung-il of the foundation said, “Through the opening of the Busan Game Over-Immersion Healing Center, the center’s professional services will be expanded nationwide to increase the accessibility of users in Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam who are experiencing difficulties due to over-immersion in games, thereby creating a foundation for a healthy game use culture. I will actively contribute to this.”
