Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Long-awaited update comes out today – with important bug fixes

Ubisoft has released a new update for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla for download. As the developers announced on Twitter, patch for the action role-playing game is available today. A specific time is not available. It can be assumed that the update will appear at the usual time: Previous updates were rolled out between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. Concrete Patch Notes announced the makers so far. It doesn’t seem to be an overly extensive update. Rather, bug fixes for the winter Yule Festival are in the foreground.

Yule festival with bugs

The Twitter post shows that the update creates a problem in the game world that blocked the progress of the event. Since the start on December 16, 2021, players have reported that it is snowing in their home village, but they cannot take part in the event. The reports are increasingly coming from players who already took part in the Yule Festival last year. Many users write on Reddit that the event simply does not show up for them.

Ubisoft tweeted shortly thereafter that it was working on solving the problem. Due to the mistakes, the Yule Festival is also being extended “so that everyone has the chance to enjoy the winter festivities”. The end is scheduled for January 27th. The makers announced a solution to the problem for the beginning of January. No sooner said than done: the update will be submitted later today. It remains to be seen whether the patch contains further bug fixes and optimizations.
