With the Games Aktuell Podcast 699 we welcome you again to our video game talk in the new year 2022. We hope you had a happy new year and that all your wishes will come true. This week Matthias invited Michael and Maci to the (virtual) sound booth. Together, the three of them start off by welcoming the New Year a little. We look at possible trends that could mark the year. We talk about the games that we are currently enthusiastic about and give one or two insider tips. Then we deal with the E3. The famous game fair has also been canceled as a physical event for 2022. Allegedly because of Corona. Voices from the industry paint a different picture, however, according to which the fair was abandoned months ago. Is the E3, as we know it, about to end for good? On the other hand, Sony had an exciting performance this week at the CES in Las Vegas. The group presented PSVR2 for the first time and announced a potential VR hit with Horizon: Call of the Mountain. We talk about the capabilities of the new hardware and everything that goes with it. In the end, of course, everything is rounded off, as always, with your community contributions.
