Netmarble expands its role as CEO Seungwon Lee, global general manager… Ki-wook Do appointed as new CFO representatives

In 2022, Netmarble Company promoted CEO Lee Seung-won through regular executive reshuffle and appointed him as the global general manager. It was announced on the 7th that President Lee Seung-won had appointed current CFO Do Ki-wook as each representative.

President Lee Seung-won will take on the role of global general manager and will be forwarded to the management of overseas core subsidiaries such as Kabam, SpinX, and Jam City to double the global business momentum.

Each new CEO appointed Ki-wook Do will be in charge of management strategy and management, while CEO Young-sik Kwon will take charge of the game business and continue the representative system as before.

Netmarble said, “This decision is part of the implementation of Netmarble, which has set 2022 as the first year of its leap forward, to complete ‘strong Netmarble’ by strengthening global business competitiveness. Through this, we expect that Netmarble’s competitiveness in the game business will be further strengthened.”

Netmarble plans to officially appoint Do Ki-wook as the new CEO through the board of directors meeting in February.

Meanwhile, the new CEO Do Ki-wook (born in 1973), who was appointed as the representative, graduated from Chung-Ang University with a degree in business administration and served as the head of finance and finance at CJ E&M (game division) and in charge of financial strategy at Netmarble.
