The most annoying game characters: These characters drive us to white heat

Mud from Gothic (center) is one of the most famous Nerv characters – but there are good reasons for their existence.

After we look at episode 77 of this podcast already the most annoying opponents ever have dedicated, this time it’s the people’s turn. Or the human-like figures. Or the obnoxious fur balls (yes, Teemo, you are meant).

Because this time Micha, Dimi and Géraldine talk about the most annoying game characters, about characters that drove them to white heat. Except for one annoying admirer who Géraldine really grew fond of.

The prime example of the NPC annoyance is of course Mud from Gothic, but we can’t be angry with him for long because he was such a tragic figure. Also, there can be good reasons to include characters like mud. We’ll talk about that too, of course.

Much worse are anyway – if Micha has its way – all the characters that have ever appeared in Watch Dogs. Yes, throughout the series. Or villains with generic names (The Archon, The Didact, The Monitor).

Or a certain agent from a certain horror game series, which is actually quite popular, but has a vein pounding loudly on Géraldine’s temple.
