New drivers from AMD and Nvidia

AMD and Nvidia have released new graphics card drivers – the first new graphics card drivers for 2022 are now available. Nvidia is the GeForce Game Ready Driver 511.17, the download for Windows 10 and 11 (both 64-bit) has a size of 793 megabytes. There is nothing particularly new in the release notes, except that official support for the new 12GB version of the GeForce RTX 3080 has been introduced. Otherwise, Nvidia only fixed a few errors, including a stutter in Detroit: Become Human.

At AMD, the focus is on God of War, which was released exclusively for the Playstation in 2018 and will be released on Friday as a PC version. The action adventure will be released on January 14th. With the new driver version for the Radeon RX 6700 XT, 6800 XT and 6900 XT graphics card series, AMD promises a performance increase of seven percent in 4K and ultra settings. AMD has also fixed a number of bugs, including graphics problems with Halo Infinite that could occur when using the zoom function in the game. the Radeon Software Adrenalin driver version 22.1.1 have a download size of 465 megabytes for Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit each).
