God of War: Activation on Steam is imminent – time for preload start

the Unlocks God of War on Steam Getting closer: The PC version of the action adventure, which was previously available exclusively for PS4, will be available from January 14th. On the Short message service Twitter will inform Sony Santa Monica when the preloads will be available. Players who have pre-ordered God of War on Steam will be able to download the data they need to play from today, January 12th, in advance on their hard drive. A specific time is also known: the preloads will be available on Steam from 5 p.m.

Preloads starting today

How big the download will actually be remains to be seen. In the system requirements, the developers announced that God of War occupies around 70 gigabytes of storage space – the use of an SSD is recommended. For the Ultra-Setting (4K at 60 Fps) the developers recommend an Nvidia RTX 3080 or AMD RX 6800 XT, an Intel i9-9900k or AMD Ryzen 9 3950X and 16 gigabytes of RAM.
