CD Projekt Red has big plans for the first quarter of 2022. In addition to the free next-gen upgrade for Cyberpunk 2077 on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, a extensive update to appear. A look at the Steam database suggests that patch 1.5 could soon be available for download. Resourceful users have noticedthat the action role-playing game product page has been updated with a new version build – the first time since October 2021. So it’s a safe bet that CDPR release preparations for the new update.

Cyberpunk 2077 update 1.5 coming soon?

If the assumptions are true, the new Cyberpunk 2077 update could be available for download in the coming weeks. That remains to be seen, however: CD Projekt Red has not yet given an exact download date for update 1.5, only that the Patch coming out in the first quarter – i.e. by March 2022 at the latest.

Next Gen Upgrade DLC Rumors

It is also unclear what content the update will include. What is certain is that this is a larger patch. It is therefore reasonable to assume that there will be new content in addition to bug fixes and optimizations. Concrete patch notes with all changes and innovations should follow around the release of the Cyberpunk 2077 update 1.5. Several extensions are also in prospect: recently there was speculation as to whether the first major DLC would lead to a ghost town. Cyberpunk 2077 (buy now €54.99) was released for PC and consoles at the end of December 2020.
